Fixed number of lessons Per phase / Fixed Interval #
- Lessons are conducted at fixed intervals (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly).
- The number of lessons within each interval is fixed.
- The duration is the same across each lesson is the same
Cycle 1 | Lesson Time |
---|---|
8 September (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
15 September (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
22 September (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
29 September (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
Cycle 2 | Lesson Time |
---|---|
6 October (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
13 October (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
20 October (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
27 October(Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
In this case, you should use our “Regular Course” function
And then open a new class for each of the timeslots on a day. We suggest naming it [Weekday] | [Starting time] so the student will know which class they are applying.
For the lessons, simply add all the lessons for all the timeslots. We suggest naming the phase with the name of the months so the student know when they will be starting their lesson.
Once you’ve entered all the lessons in this phase (i.e. maybe 4, or 6), you can click on “Add a new phase” and we will shift all the lessons by one week after the end date of your current phase.
To create the lessons for the future, Keep adding phases until the point where you have not confirmed your own schedule. This makes sure you won’t need to update your timeslots on Flowclass for the next few months.
Allowing students to join in the middle of a phase #
By default, if the first phase lesson has started, we will not allow the student to join the phase.
Cycle 2 | Lesson Time |
---|---|
6 October (Saturday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
13 October (Saturday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
20 October (Saturday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
27 October (Saturday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
Using the above phase as an example, if the current time is 7 October (after the start of the first lesson), the student will not be able to enrol in any of the lessons.
When this switch is on, the student will be able to register for all the remaining lessons in a phase.
For example. If the current date is 15 October, the student will only apply for (and pay for) 2 lessons, which are 20 October (Saturday) and 27 October (Saturday).
Fixed number of lessons Per phase / Fixed Interval / Multiple timeslot choices #
Assume you have multiple classes for the same course that the student can choose. And they may choose more than one class.
Cycle 1 Class 1 | Lesson Time |
---|---|
8 September (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
15 September (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
22 September (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
29 September (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
Cycle 1 Class 2 | Lesson Time |
---|---|
9 September (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
16 September (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
23 September (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
30 September (Monday) | 4:00 – 6:00 PM |
You can create multiple classes inside the same course. Each class can have a different price. When the student books any of the classes, he will only book all the lessons in the phase he chose.
To make things easier, you can use our “Duplicate Class” function.
Then, in the timeslots below, simply update each of the timeslots of the different phases with the other schedule.
Multiple day choices / Multiple timeslot choices #
Suppose you are only organizing your course for one time and don’t care about recurring lessons. You can use the “phase” to set up multiple options of timeslots which the student can choose.
For example, this is the schedule of your event:
Date | Choices |
9 September (Monday) | AM Class: 10:00 – 1:00 PM |
PM Class: 2:00 – 5:00 PM | |
16 September (Monday) | AM Class: 10:00 – 1:00 PM |
PM Class: 2:00 – 5:00 PM | |
23 September (Monday) | AM Class: 10:00 – 1:00 PM |
PM Class: 2:00 – 5:00 PM | |
30 September (Monday) | AM Class: 10:00 – 1:00 PM |
PM Class: 2:00 – 5:00 PM |
As there are two choices for each day, you can set each day of the event as a “class” in our software. Inside the class, the first phase will be the first choice (AM Class) and the second phase will be the second choice (PM class)
In this case, you will restrict the student to only be able to select either the AM or PM session. This would also work in case they want to select the number of days of the event they want to join.
