Set Up Social Media

Website Display #

The Social Media feature, as seen in the footer of the homepage, provides direct links to your organization’s social media platforms. This helps users connect with your brand on various platforms and stay updated with your latest news, activities, and announcements.

• Placement:
  • The Social Media section is located in the footer, ensuring visibility on all pages of the website.
  • Positioned alongside contact details, creating a comprehensive and user-friendly footer layout.
• Icons for Social Media Platforms:
  • Displays recognizable and clickable icons for social media platforms.
  • Example in the image:
    • Instagram (pink icon with a camera image).
    • YouTube (red icon with a play button).
  • Users can click these icons to be redirected to your respective social media profiles.

How to Set Up? #

Step 1: Navigate to the Social Media Links Section #

1. Go to the Contacts page from the left-hand menu under Settings.
2. Click on the “Social Media Links” tab at the top of the page (highlighted in the image).

Step 2: Add Social Media Links #

1. Click the “Create social media link” button to add a new link.
2. Choose the social media platform from the dropdown menu (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
3. Enter the URL of your social media profile in the provided field.
   • Example:
     • Instagram: https://instagram.com/yourprofile
     • YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/yourchannelID
4. Click Save to add the link to the list.

Step 3: Manage Existing Links #

1. Edit Links:
   • To modify a link, click the pencil icon next to the platform.
   • Update the URL and save your changes.
2. Delete Links:
   • To remove a link, click the red X icon next to the platform.

Step 4: Save Changes #

1. After adding or editing links, click the “Save Changes” button at the top-right corner of the page.
2. Your social media links will be updated and displayed on the website’s footer.
